Examinations
Exams... Everybody goes through them at some time or other! The (open) secret is to be as well-prepared as you can for the exam you are taking, which requires hard work and method in your studying.
I prepare students for the following examinations:
Cambridge ESOL - Key English Test (KET), Preliminary English Test (PET), First Certificate in English (FCE), Certificate of Advanced English (CAE), Certificate of Proficiency in English Entry Test (CPE Entry Test) and Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE)
Michigan Examination for Certificate of Competency in English (ECCE), Michigan Advanced Level Certificate in English (ALCE) and Michigan Examination for Certificate of Proficiency in English (ECPE)
EdExcel London Tests of English (all levels)
The Greek State Certificate of Foreign Language Competency (Glossomatheia) Levels B2, C1 and C2 (the latter is to be introduced in 2006)
The Test of English as a Foreign Language
(TOEFL)
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
All entry arrangements can be made by myself, with the exception of the Glossomatheia, which requires either the parent or the student to apply in person at the Local Education Authority office. For those wishing for details about entering themselves for the May 2006 sitting of the EdExcel London tests of English examinations, please visit this page (in Greek).
